Tess...
My anti-girly girl, has tried out for her class's play.
I was amazed. She is not fond of the spotlight. She is not big on being the center of attention. She would not jump on the trampoline in toddler gym class, because she didn't want everyone looking at her.
Then she told me the part she auditioned for.
A robber. Who gets to be in a stage fight.
Mystery solved.

I had so much fun in theatre in school. It was great fun even though I was never a lead character, but always had such a good time! I hope your daughter does also.
ReplyDeleteFunny...I was just reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteTess did the lighting for the play last year and loved it.
I figured she would be doing stuff like that all through school, but maybe she will like being on stage as well as behind the scenes...
When I was a little girl I played the (male) title role in "The Little Prince." I hope she gets it!
ReplyDelete(P.S. Tess was our pick for a name until we learned we were having a Noah. Love her name.)
