thursday thirteen, snow edition

I lived in Tucson for four years, then this summer I moved to Anchorage. We have already gotten more than a foot of snow. I am really enjoying the snow, and taking lots of photos of snow. It's a really nice change from photographing cacti and scrub and dirt...

  1. Hi Julie!

The snow on the pine is so pretty...so Christmasy.

Hmmmmm, I lived in Tucson for about 12 years...the first year we lived there, it snowed on Easter. Of course it was gone in about two hours, but it actually snowed!!! Talk about photographing cactus and scrub...you shoulda seen snow on the saguaros!!

My 13 is posted...it's all Olde Enlgish today. Stop by, won't you?

  2. You have a much better attitude about the snow than I do. We have had fluries so far but nothing with substance. My son can't wait for a good snow fall.

Come visit my TT about my 5 year old.

  3. Poor puppies!! But the snow is beautiful. However, I am willing to bet that come Spring (and it comes late, up there) you will REALLY be ready to welcome GREEN instead of WHITE.

  4. Beautiful! My aunt emailed me pics of the sunset on Turkey Day and it was just unbearably gorgeous. You lucky, lucky girl. We FINALLY got about 3 inches this week. Funny how snow makes it feel warmer out!

  5. Such beautiful snow shots. It is finally getting colder down here, so I'm beginning to feel a little more Christmas-y. I think you photo of the snow on the pine might have just pushed me over into the Christmas Spirit, though. :D

  6. Ohhh you cruel lady!!!
Loved to see the pictures, it was snowing here too today, but unfortunately, up here, it does not become Winter Wonder Land like at your place! It's just thick rain really!

How beautiful! Funny how striking that stuff is in photos for me today -- I just was complaining about our snow. I guess the snow is always whiter on the other side of the fence (where I don't have to deal with it lol)

    Happy TT!

  10. I love how snow blankets everything. And yes you were mean to the dogs, but it is funny in a sick way.

And yes I knew it was Wednesday, but by the time I was finished getting that post done it was closer to Tursday. :)

  14. You're right, it IS weird that the cats are inside in pretty brass urns, and the grandpa is outside on the fridge in a box. Hmmm. Says something about the relationships, I imagine.

You like me! You really really like me!

Or maybe you just find me horribly annoying and are about to let me know. Go ahead, I can deal.

So, whatever, you know, leave a message. Thanks!!!
