Really really necessary?

The other day, I was making a right turn, and somebody from the other direction turned right behind me.

Then he sped up and got around me, in the short two blocks to the next stop light. I assumed he didn't want to be behind me on the long stretch into Tucson where you cannot pass. No biggie. Better than him riding my butt all the way...

So he whips around the corner, right ahead of me, then turns into the McDonald's parking lot. Um, what? You were jonesing for a Big Mac so seriously you had to race around in front of me?

Seriously, this idiot saved four seconds.

People are dumb.

Here's another photo, Mom and Dad...

You can see Thor's height sorta in comparison to Zach...I don't know if his shoulders are really that broad or if it's the lab coat he's wearing.

I don't have any other recent photos with the two of them standing together. I will take a couple this week ... although you will be here soon and then you can see for yourself!

Jim Stafford on the Tonight Show

I had forgotten all about Jim Stafford...I used to like him when I was a little kid...and this is some impressive guitar playing in this one.

If only we had 50,000 euros laying around ...

I saw this on somebody's blog, and I thought you would find it interesting. This thing looks like lots of fun...

This is from a BBC show, about a car from the '60s that is tiny. Insanely impossibly tiny. The video is kind of long, but worth it.

Okay, Mark, since you couldn't be there...

Here are some photos from last night...The kids enjoyed cutting up the pumpkins and, as usual, created some great faces. Iwill try to get better pics of the faces so you can see them. Thor used the white pumpkin -- it was very thick flesh, and tough-skinned. It had a slightly sweet smell. Kinda strange all around.

And what with having to chase down Abe, find the candy and get it dumped into a bowl, get the soup ready, get all the stuff the kids needed to get the lights and decorations ready...the only pictures I got of Tess in her costume were with Alexis.

The bottom picture shows the alien on the roof close to the front, with a strobe light on it, and one of the gargoyles in the window by the front door.

All in all, it was a good Halloween!
